ASHHRA OUTSTANDING CHAPTER OFFICER
(formerly Outstanding Chapter President)

 Purpose: 

To recognize, on behalf of an ASHHRA Chapter, a 2005 Chapter Officer (President, President-Elect/Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary), who has made a significant contribution to an ASHHRA Chapter via excellence in chapter management and/or distinguished leadership.

*Process: 

1.      Chapter develops a nomination process (e.g., Selection Committee)

2.      Chapter designee completes nomination form

3.      Chapter designee forwards nomination form to Regional Board Representative

4.      Regional Board Representative signs or acknowledges support prior to deadline date

*NO SUBMISSION WILL BE CONSIDERED UNLESS ALL STEPS IN THE ABOVE PROCESS ARE FOLLOWED.

Selection Criteria:

ASHHRAs Membership and Chapter Services Committee will review all nominations and select award recipients based upon the following criteria:

·        Nominee is an ASHHRA Chapter member

·        Demonstration of significant nominee contribution to an ASHHRA Chapter through excellence in chapter management and/or distinguished leadership

Award recipients will receive the following recognition:

·        Congratulatory letter from the ASHHRA President with a copy to the award recipients CEO & immediate manager

·        Recognition and award presented at the ASHHRA Annual Conference
